Icons are unmoveable
Published on September 4, 2020 By donprivate In Fences

I can create fences but it cannot be moved to another fence or even be moved out of a fence. The only way to free a desktop icon to be able to move it again is to disable Fences altogether. Having Fences running at all completely disables any ability to move icons in any way. The icon doesn't even need to be in a fence to be locked on the desktop. It also can't be rearranged in any way. When trying to select and drag with the mouse I just get a 'circle with a line through it' symbol. Tried to take a screenshot but it wouldn't capture the mouse cursor. Similar to this symbol 🚫but gray.

  3. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
